Looking for a pirate

At the third week of January there will be a lolita pirate high tea meet-up. And I'm looking forward to it ♥ So, the theme is, of course, pirates! Now I do not own anything pirate, only a eyepatch I bought a while ago at Fly Away Fashion. I'm going to coordinate the rest of the outfit from this point of view.

I also have some rose hairclips in the same color as the rose on the eyepatch. So, I'm going to use them as well. I think I'm going to wear my black Moitié OP with this. It might look lovely with it, and it will be the first time I'm going to wear this dress to a meet-up.  But I'm still not sure how to do my hair/wig and make-up. I'm think about how to make it more pirate, but I'm not sure. I might just stick with the eyepatch only.

  1. It looks like a lovely goth coordinate, but not really pirate yet indeed :) Maybe make a little tricorn hat or add some metal accessoires? It's a little too clean now, I think^^ Pirate is a rough style after all :)

  2. Yes I thought about getting a little tricorn hat, but I also have the feeling more girls will do that. So, I don't really want to do that. It's hard to come up with something. Luckily you can also come when it's not so pirate.

    I really need to think of something to spice it up!

  3. Oh, I was thinking, perhaps my sheer layered vintage skirt will be better for the theme..

    What would you think?

  5. You mean this skirt? --> http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7Ig30eCHdOY/Tilb6ykCU7I/AAAAAAAAAk0/7sem4yeh7vA/s1600/IMG_4363Finished_2.jpg
    Maybe put an off-white blouse (with long, sheer sleeves) and a black (or dark-red) underbust corset with that?
