A few days ago I have order a wig I wanted for a while now ♥
It was sold out when I had the money to buy it, but luckily it got restocked. So, I knew I hád to buy it right away.
It's the Mermaid Beachy wig from Lockshop ♥
I'm always pleased with the service and the quality of Lockshops products. Shipping is pretty fast and everything is packed well. With this order I tried the new shipping method, so that it would ship with a small box that fits through the mailbox. (and therefore shipping costs were also less!) It also came with a wigcap and invoice.
I also made a video of the wig.
And last weekend I tried the wig on, with a simple outfit. At first I thought this wig might be too light for me, but I do like how it looks on me. Though it felt a bit strange after all the dark wigs I normally wear!
What do you think of this wig?
I now have 10 wigs in my collection (clip-inns exclusive).
I keep them all organised on a shelf in my closet, with the name of the wig written on it's package. I do that because it makes it alot easier and faster to find the wig I'm looking for.
A while ago there was a outfit contest on Facebook from Lockshop.
The winner would win a wig of choice, wig comb and mystery gift. The second place a wig of choice.
And, to my surprise I recieved a e-mail, telling me I was second place! I thought it would be impossible, because there were many girls attending the contest, and with more 'likes' than me! So, I felt very lucky ^^
I chose for the 'Silky Straight Dark Brown' wig. And I will write my second review about a Lockshop wig. You can read the first one -here-
This review will be different than the first one, because I didn't had to order it this time. I will skip right to the package!
Package
It was packed well, it came in the plastic package as the previous time I recieved a wig from Lockshop. The wig was packed neatly in pape, with a businesscard. When I opened it I saaw the wig, and, another wigcap! The previous time I also got a wigcap with my wig.
Quality
The quality of the wig is good. It's a pretty long wig, and it feels very soft and smooth.
The color of the wig of the website is very accurate.In natural light the wig looks very lovely, and natural.
As you can see, on the other side of the wig you see short hairs. I think they done it because usually a wig will tangle alot on that place. By having the hair there short like this it won't happen. You won't see a thing of this when you wear the wig.
What does Lockshop claim?
"This lovely layered silky straight wig is inspired by the sleek
styles that many Asian pop idols sport. It's a great wig for lolita,
gyaru, mori or just your every day street style!
Because of the super
sleek layered style of this wig it looks thinner than the rest of our

Is this true?
The wig looks indeed thinner than the other wigs that are offered, but if you wear it, it still looks good. The bangs are indeed long, but if you want to wear the bangs sideswept, than the length is perfect. This is what I did when I tried the wig on. (By now I have cut the bangs shorter). And the wig is indeed very soft, as I said earlier.
Price
This wig costs 29,50 €
tax incl.This is €1,- more expensive, compared to the 'Soft Curls Auburn' wig. But the price is right, because this wig is a lot more longer.
Worn
And here I am, wearing the wig! I have made one photo with flash, and one in natural light. As you can see, it looks shiny with flash, but it looks fantastic in natural light! Please note that my room is very dark, with minimum light! For the second photo I was standing right behind the window, for better light.

Verdict
As I said before, I would buy again from Lockshop. I really like those wigs, and the service is good. The wig is very easy to brush with your wig comb, because it's a straight wig. It felt great to run my fingers between the fibers! And, I like how this wig looks on me! I will show you how the wig looks like with the bangs cut, in a different post!

I have heard some possitive things about the wigs, so I decided to buy one.
Website
The website looks very neat, and is pretty fast.
Everything can be found clear and fast.
All the information you want to know is pretty much on the website.
You can change the currency on top of the website on the far left in Euro, Dollar and Pounds.
You can also chose to register there, but if you don't want to, you don't have to.
And that's what I like. Even when you are not registered, you can still follow your order, by clicking "Guest Tracking" in you email, when you have placed your order. The website looks proffesional, and I'm glad it doesn't look too crowded.
Product
I went for the 'Soft Curls Auburn' wig.
I like the color and model of the wig.
The blonde looks too light for me, and the black and brown color also looks nice. But, I wanted a wig with a bit different color. It can still be used for Lolita, but also for a more casual and everyday look .

The information of the product says the following:

Ordering a wig is very easy. You can add the wig you want to your cart, and on the right you will see your product, along with the price of shipping and it's total cost.
Payment
It went pretty fast.
After ordering you will get a e-mail from Lockshop with the invoice.
You have to pay with Paypal, so you can pay right away.
Shipping
On the website it says there might be a possible delay with shipping between wednesday the 5th of October until wednesday the 26th of October.So, I was prepared to wait longer for it.
Eventually it still arrived pretty fast! I ordered on thursday, and got an email on saturday that my wig was shipped. The package arrived on thuesday.
So, it took 5 days after placing the order, with the weekend included to arrive here. Lockshop is located in The Netherlands, and so am I. If you order after the named date it will arrive faster if you are in the same country. I don't know how long it would take to ship to an other country.

It was packed well, it came in a plastic package.
The wig was packed in paper, and on top of that was the invoice of my order, along with a list of instructions, on how to maintain your wig. And also a business card of Lockshop.I also got a wigcap! You can never have enough of those!

Since it was already dark when I made these photo's, I decided to wait until the next day, for making more photo's, with better light.
The plastic bag where the wig is being held in, is even thicker than the bags of my other wigs! Very sturdy, which I like. And look, a cute tag of Lockshop!

Quality
The quality of the wig is very good actually.
It looks a bit frizzy on the picture below, but that's because of taking the wig straight out of the net. Look at the color, it's beautifl isn't it?
The color of the wig of the website is very accurate, luckily. I was afraid it wouldn't be the same color, but it is! Lockshop claims to be a full wig, and I have to agree with that. It's pretty full, much fuller than my other wigs.
And, it's not so shiny as my other wigs as well, which makes it look more real. Don't you think it looks pretty natural?
Wearing
And then it's time to wear the wig!
The bangs came uncut, so it might be a bit too long.
I didn't felt like cutting the bags right away, so I'm wearing it to the side.

The price is right, it's not so expensive for what you get.
The wig is in excellent condition, great quality.
The wig costs €28,50, tax included.
Shipping was €8,25, tax included. So I had to pay a total of €36,75.
Verdict
I would definitely buy again from Lockshop.
Such good service, and still pretty fast, even when mentioned it could be delayed a bit.
The wig is of great quality. It's full and feels thick.
I really hope they will sell straight black wigs with 2 pigtails in the future, because I would buy it right away then. I can't find that kind of wig anywhere, only with wavy hair.

The curls are beautifull, and so is the color. And it's just like I expected it to be.

The wig is in excellent condition, great quality.
