Last saturday I went out for a bit of shopping with my partner. I felt the need to wear one of my wigs, but didn't felt like dressing up. So I just wore a simple outfit. My hair got quite some stares, mostly from women and little girls that loved my hair. If only they would know it was a wig! I felt a bit insecure going out like this, because I don't feel girly at all, even when looking like a girl. I just wanted to wear this outfit with this wig, but going outside like this feels..weird. I thought I would be ok with it because I also still wear lolita, and enjoy wearing it, even though it's a feminine fashion style. Buut this is really different. I can't wait for my own hair to be long again, so that I don't have to wear a wig when I want to have long hair.

I bought a nice pair of pants from the H&M (mens department) and also a blouse, but I have to return the blouse because it's too big on me. The pants suit me perfectly, so I'm happy! My partner bought a nice pair of grey skinny jeans and a lovely coat.

Outfit Rundown
Sweater - H&M
Pants - H&M (mens department)
Top - H&M
Necklace - H&M (childrens department)
Hairclips - H&M
Shoes - Dr. Martens
Wig - Lockshop

  1. You look super cute *_* I love that wig on you! And I also love your new blog layout ♥♥

    1. Thank you dear ♥ It's one of my favourite wigs already, because you can wear it with every outfit ^^ And good to hear that you like my new vlog layout! I think this looks better than my old layout!

  2. Maybe you felt different because the clothes are kinda normal/mainstream? Mainstream female fashion is completely different than lolita female fashion. Yeah, they are both feminine in style, but one is alternative/weird and gets a whole different look from people than normal clothes. And maybe lolita also feels a bit like a sort of dress up, while normal clothes are just simply worn. I find it hard to find the right words to explain what I mean. -__- And I don't know if it for you why you feel different. But that's just a reason I can imagine why it makes you feel different.

Nonetheless, you look very nice in that outfit and with the wig on!
And your new pants look really nice too! :D

    1. I wanted to see if I still felt the same about looking (and being) like a 'real' girl with wearing casual girl clothing, as sort of a test. I'm very sure of my gender, but I still wanted to try out if clothing (and a wig) would make a difference or not. But it really didn't felt right, I felt pretty insecure looking like this. So I'm very happy about everything (the coming-out and intake at the VU). I know I'm being silly by doing this because I'm absolutely sure but I wanted to give it one last try xD

And thanks! I love my new pants ♥

    2. I know that feel!
A couple of weeks ago I put on a dress (just at home, in front of a mirror - no intentions to leave the house) out of curiosity just to see how I would feel wearing a dress now and looking feminine. And it didn't feel right too.

And I don't think it is silly to do these things. Evaluating things/feelings/decisions are very important. It gives a strong foundation for the future. :)

  3. the jumper is so cute :D and I love your wig :D
