Book event
At the beginning of november there was a book event where you can buy lots of books which are cheaper than usual. This event takes place on different places in the county, on different dates. This one was in my hometown, Eindhoven. And these are the books I got myself; The four books on top of this small pile is quite obvious and known by many people, but I couldn't resist of buying them, as I didn't own the stories myself. I'm currently reading 'The picture of Dorian Gray'. ♥

The Last Concubine Storyline:
How do you fall in love when your society has no word for it? "The Last Concubine" is an epic love story closely based on historical events, chronicling 19th century Japan's extraordinary change from a medieval to a modern country. This is the story of a shogun, a princess and the three thousand women of the women's palace - all of whom really existed - and of the civil war that brought their way of life to an end ...Japan, 1865: the women's palace in the great city of Edo is a sprawling complex much like a middle-eastern harem.Bristling with intrigue and erotic rivalries, the palace is home to three thousand women and only one man - the young shogun. Land Of The Living Storyline:A horrifying premise
catalyzes this fast-paced, suspenseful thriller: A woman wakes up in a
darkened room, bound, disoriented, unable to recall the recent past. She
is terrorized and abused by a strange man who taunts her with the names
of other victims. But for Abbie Devereaux, a 25-year-old Londoner, the
nightmare really begins after she escapes. Recovering in a local
hospital, she must confront the fact that no one believes her story. Her
doctors think it's all a fantasy, "a cry for help." Det. Insp. Jack
Cross can't find a crime scene. And when Abbie's well enough to go home,
she discovers that her life-her job designing office interiors; her
boyfriend, Terry; the flat they shared-has been destroyed, but she
hasn't a clue as to how or why. Has she had a breakdown? Is she still in
danger from the kidnapper? The bulk of the novel is about Abbie's
inventive efforts to reconstruct her life and discover what really
happened to her.
Alice I have Been Storyline:
Alice Liddell
Hargreaves’s life has been a richly woven tapestry: As a young woman,
wife, mother, and widow, she’s experienced intense passion, great
privilege, and greater tragedy. But as she nears her eighty-first
birthday, she knows that, to the world around her, she is and will
always be only “Alice.” Her life was permanently dog-eared at one
fateful moment in her tenth year–the golden summer day she urged a
grown-up friend to write down one of his fanciful stories. That
story, a wild tale of rabbits, queens, and a precocious young child,
becomes a sensation the world over. Its author, a shy, stuttering Oxford
professor, does more than immortalize Alice–he changes her life
forever. But even he cannot stop time, as much as he might like to. And
as Alice’s childhood slips away, a peacetime of glittering balls and
royal romances gives way to the urgent tide of war. For Alice,
the stakes could not be higher, for she is the mother of three grown
sons, soldiers all. Yet even as she stands to lose everything she
treasures, one part of her will always be the determined, undaunted
Alice of the story, who discovered that life beyond the rabbit hole was
an astonishing journey.

Bookshelfs are so usefull!
Just to give you a looksie of some of our bookshelfs.
It's not hard to see which are filled with my stuff.
This is where a part of my accesories are.
Headdresses, headbow, bracelets, rings, lots of hairclips...
Under the white headdress in the middle I have some storage for lots of hairclips, earrings and other necklaces than my rosaries. And hidden under my rose hairclips are three decorated heart shaped storages, with some more necklaces, bracelets and what not. On the left you can see some MFashion flyers, and my stamp card from the shop. I still need 7 stamps, but that also means I need to spend €700,- more euros! *Forever poor*
This is where some manga books are storaged.
Initial D is from my boyfriend. He is a big fan of it. The other manga's you see are mine.
My other manga is hidden behind the almighty Initial D collection!
And some of my books! As you can see I love myself some Shakespear from time to time.
Also Jane Austen is always nice to read. The Linux books on the right are not mine haha.
Do you love to read?
If so, what do you read, and can you recommend me some good books?
I like to read books in Dutch, but I like it better in English.
~☆~☆~
Also, where and how do you keep your accesories, headdresses and necklaces?
I'm really curious!
